Campfire Reserve
Medium Roast • Whole Bean • Organic Coffee
This is a coffee that asks you to slow down.
Campfire Reserve comes from Cafescor, a tight-knit cooperative of about 131 small farmers in Corquín, deep in the Copán region of Honduras. They've spent over a decade building something worth protecting: Fair Trade and organic farming, a shared wet mill, even a children's day celebration they sponsor every year in their community. We liked that. It felt like the kind of story Jack would approve of, small, patient, done right.
The beans grow at 4,200 to 5,200 feet and are washed and rested before they ever reach our roaster.
The official notes are milk chocolate, sugar cookie, and red apple. When we drink it ourselves, we pick up something a little deeper, like brownie, baker's chocolate, and a whisper of something earthy on the finish. Honestly, it's the bag we keep brewing for ourselves.
