Jack’s Campfire Coffee Company started on a freezing cold camping trip.

I was making coffee by the fire when my buddy looked over and said, “He’s freezing, man.”

I laughed and said, “He’s fine. He’s got fur.”

Then I actually looked at Jack. He was shivering, ears flat, tough-guy act completely gone. So I scooped him up, wrapped him in my blanket like a burrito, and pulled him close to the fire.

He leaned in hard. Forgiven instantly.

That little moment became the heart of this company.
